Fong Lab
We are a part of the Cancer Immunotherapy Program (CIP) at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center as well as the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. Our lab focuses on defining the immunologic mechanisms that mediate tumor regression to immunotherapies both in cancer patients and in pre-clinical models. The Fong lab is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of scientists, bioinformaticians, and physicians.
The overarching goal of our laboratory is to identify signatures and pathways associated with response, toxicities and resistance to cancer immunotherapies, which represent a key unmet need. We utilize the latest immune methodologies and sequencing platforms to interrogate patient samples for translational research with the potential for immediate impact.
