Daniel Kwon, MD Joins Faculty

Daniel Kwon, MD is joining the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UCSF. He received his BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and his MD from UCLA. He completed residency and fellowship at UCSF. During fellowship, he developed clinical expertise in GU oncology and led research in biomarkers, disparities, COVID-19 outcomes, and shared decision-making in prostate cancer. He received the 2021 Ronald A. Rosenberg Endowed Fellowship in Genitourinary Medical Oncology and an ASCO Conquer Cancer YIA, in which he will study implementation of consultation audio recordings to improve informed decision-making for men with advanced prostate cancer.
